Overview
As founder of The Sticky Rice Project, I designed and implemented a summer youth program in collaboration with Xin Chao magazine and the Live It Fund grant. The program included cooking, writing, and reflective workshops. Recruiting and managing a team of over 12 volunteer publication staff (designers, photographers, writers, and editors), we published a recipe storybook that includes the written reflections of youth participants, stories of the elders who taught cooking workshops, and recipes throughout the program.

Goal
Using food, photography, and design, bridge the generation gap in the Seattle Vietnamese community.
